Fundraising fun for Dove House!
With the lockdown in force and everyone working from home, the team here at cHRysos HR wanted to do something fun to help stay in touch with each other, keep spirits high and raise money for a worthy cause.
At our regular team meetings, now being held online, the cHRysos HR team decided to get creative and implemented a fundraising fancy dress programme, with all proceeds going to Dove House, a hospice providing specialist palliative care across Hull and East Yorkshire. With themes such as fancy dress, pyjamas, crazy hats and tiaras, our staff are dressing up for the morning meetings and every time someone takes part, they each donate £1 to the chosen charity.
We would love to get more people involved and are extending this to all of our learners in the cHRysos HR family. If you are currently studying with us, we would love it if you could join in, get creative and dress up for your online workshops and tutorials! The chosen themes are as follows:
Week 1 - commencing April 6: Bright Ties and Tiaras
If you don’t have a tiara it could anything shiny that you can clip in your hair or a fascinator. Ties should be bright and fun - ladies feel free to wear a tie if you prefer!
Week 2 - commencing April 13: Wear a Hat
The crazier the better!
Week 3 - commencing April 20: Fancy dress
Week 4 - commencing April 27: Pyjama party!
Not only is our goal to raise much needed funds for such a worthwhile cause, we are also hoping to stay connected and bring some silliness, laughter and smiles to our days, in a time when it may be in short supply.
