Coronavirus Health and Safety notice (Updated 28th May 2020)

28th May 2020

As the Government starts to explore ways of helping us return to some semblance of normality, at cHRysos HR the safety of all our learners and clients remains of paramount importance.

We've worked hard to deliver an engaging and interactive package of remote learning as we feel it is vital that everyone maintains a strong link with their tutor via online workshops and is able to continue to remotely catch up with their fellow learners. Interaction and collaboration is at the heart of what we do and we're delighted that we can continue to achieve this remotely.

We're very proud that our community of tutors and learners have come together and embraced the technology, whilst continuing to enhance their skills for the future, during the lockdown. This has been a new experience for many, and it is so rewarding to receive positive comments about remote learning and online experiences everyday.

On behalf of the whole team I'd like to say a huge 'Thank You' for all the feedback we receive - It is invaluable and helps us to continually improve our services - and to also offer a big 'Welcome' to all our new learners, who have joined at a clearly difficult time.

Many businesses are understandably finding it challenging at the moment; therefore it has been particularly heart-warming to see that support for learning and development continues to be provided by employers.

As a team here at cHRysos HR, we are continuing to learn, and develop our remote learning packages, in preparation for the next chapter and to find new and exciting ways of working together.

Staying at home has certainly created opportunities for us all to learn new knowledge and skills and we look forward to working with you on the journey.

25th March 2020

Following the government’s updated guidance surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), with effect from 9am on Wednesday 18th March 2020 cHRysos HR will be postponing all face-to-face workshops. Allocated Tutors will be in touch to arrange for workshops/tutorials to take place online on the dates planned. Please note that for larger groups the arrangements may need to be altered.

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change. Please be reassured that if dates alter, submissions for assignments will be extended accordingly.

If you are scheduled to attend a face-to-face workshop, an email communication will be sent to you shortly about how online workshops will take place and how to connect with your tutor online. cHRysos HR uses a platform called GoToTraining and this can be accessed via a PC, your laptop or a mobile device. The sessions may be slightly shorter than planned due to switching to online but you will still have the opportunity to connect with your tutor during the online session and additional reading material will be available online too.

If you have any questions please email me at info@chrysos.org.uk.

11th March 2020

In light of the current coronavirus situation, please be aware of the actions we have taken at this stage, to help protect all learners studying with cHRysos HR, along with their employers and of course, our own employees.

Having undertaken a risks assessment, with immediate effect we will issue the notification below and declaration form to all apprentices, students and employers who are scheduled to attend a workshop or meeting at their own workplace, with any member of our team.

A similar arrangement has also been put in place for anyone scheduled to attend a workshop, meeting etc. at our premises at Armstrong House in Doncaster.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow our team members to visit individuals if the declaration has not been completed and returned; likewise we will be unable to allow individuals to attend a workshop, meeting etc. at our own premises if they have not completed and returned the declaration form.

We are also offering online tuition and meetings as an alternative to face to face, and for individuals visiting our premises, antibacterial hand sanitiser is available for use.

We would very much appreciate your support in our efforts to keep everyone safe.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact either Julie Gordon, Director of Quality Assurance at julie@chrysos.org.uk or Sheila Moore, Managing Director at sheila@chrysos.org.uk or contact us by telephone at 01302 802128.
